Hormann Leicester, Timber Up & Over (Retractable) Garage Door

The Hormann Leicester 2119 is a a popular choice as it gives the appearance of traditional outward opening doors but with the benefits of an up and over door.

These wooden garage doors are handmade using traditional techniques in the UK.  The Cedar Wood Panel is then dipped in a light basecoat stain so that you can stain it to the colour of your choice on delivery.  There is also the option of having it professionally finished in the factory in a choice of Sikkens stains that come with a 5 year guarntee for extra peace of mind.

Dark stain colours are not recommended for South facing garage doors as they can absorb too much heat and cause the timber to dry out.

The cedar panel is secured to Hormann's German engineered steel chassis which gives the panel strength and rigidity so that it won't warp or twist which can often be a problem for other inferior makes of wooden doors.

For optimal security and personal convenience we recommend adding an electric garage door opener otherwise you can upgrade the manual locking from 2 to 4 point.

The usual delivery time for this product is 42 days.

This is based on usual delivery times for stock or made to order doors, the lead time for your new garage door may increase with seasonal demand at the factory if the door is not a stock item. For made to measure or coloured garage doors please allow up to 8 weeks.

You will be contacted 24 to 48 hours before your delivery is due. Please make sure that someone will be available to help the driver off load your new garage door as they are large and heavy. Your door will be delivered on a large lorry (28ft long by 13ft 6 inches tall) so please make sure there is adequate access to avoid disappointment and abortive delivery charges.
