Hormann Chesterfield Timber, Up & Over (Retractable) Garage Door

The Hormann Chesterfield wooden garage door has a luxurious and detailed panel design with tongue and grooved insets.

The timber panel is handmade in the UK by skilled craftsmen using traditional techniques. The Chesterfield panel is then dip coated in a Sikkens light oak stain to give it a clear basecoat treatment so that you can finish the door to the colour of your choice once you take delivery.

For a professional finish which is guaranteed against weather erosion for 5 years we recommend the fully finished factory applied stain option in a choice of colours.

Once treated the wooden panel is then carefully inserted into the proven Hormann steel chassis which adds strength and rigidity to the panel to prevent warping and twisting, which is often a problem with other makes of wooden garage doors.

The door is operated using Hormann's reliable up and over retractable lifting gear which uses superior quality, durable components for complete peace of mind.

For optimal security and easy access at the touch of a button, we recommend one of Hormann's electric garage door openers with forced entry protection.

If electric operation is not required you can upgrade the standard 2 point locking to the 4 point locking for extra security.

The usual delivery time for this product is 42 days.

This is based on usual delivery times for stock or made to order doors, the lead time for your new garage door may increase with seasonal demand at the factory if the door is not a stock item. For made to measure or coloured garage doors please allow up to 8 weeks.

You will be contacted 24 to 48 hours before your delivery is due. Please make sure that someone will be available to help the driver off load your new garage door as they are large and heavy. Your door will be delivered on a large lorry (28ft long by 13ft 6 inches tall) so please make sure there is adequate access to avoid disappointment and abortive delivery charges.
