Hormann Caxton, Timber, Up & Over (Canopy) Garage Door

The easy to install Hormann Caxton Timber garage door is designed to give the impression of being a pair of traditional side hinged doors, whilst it is actually a single timber up and over door.

The Hormann Caxton garage door panel is hand made with a tongue and groove using a high degree of craftsmanship ensuring that you that you get the best from the natural timber. The cedar wood is organically grown from sustainable forest sources where there is a continuous replanting programme.

Each hand crafted panel is secured into Hormann's proven Open-for-Infill frame to ensure stability and to keep all moving parts acting on steel components, avoiding stress on the timber panel to give you many years of reliable operation.

Fitted as standard is a two point locking system but you could upgrade to the four point locking for maximum manula door security. If you would prefer an electric garage door, see the retractable version of the Caxton in the related products below.

As standard, Hormann Timber Garage Doors are supplied with a dip immersion coat for temporary protection. You can then paint or stain the door to the colour of your choice. Alternatively to guarantee weather protection, you could choose from the fully finished factory applied stains shown above which come with a 5 Year Hormann Erosion Protection Warranty.

The usual delivery time for this product is 42 days.

This is based on usual delivery times for stock or made to order doors, the lead time for your new garage door may increase with seasonal demand at the factory if the door is not a stock item. For made to measure or coloured garage doors please allow up to 8 weeks.

You will be contacted 24 to 48 hours before your delivery is due. Please make sure that someone will be available to help the driver off load your new garage door as they are large and heavy. Your door will be delivered on a large lorry (28ft long by 13ft 6 inches tall) so please make sure there is adequate access to avoid disappointment and abortive delivery charges.
