Garage Door Superstore offers Free Delivery on all garage doors and electric operators to any UK mainland address (except those excluded below).
The delivery of your new Garage door can vary depending on availability from the manufacturer. To keep our prices rock bottom, we don’t have our own delivery vehicles or hold our own stock and we pass these savings directly to you. We rely on the manufacturer’s stock and their delivery network to get your new garage door to you. If your door is in stock at the factory, it will be despatched on the next available weekly delivery run, the average delivery time is 2-3 weeks. Please allow up to 8 weeks for special orders or during busy periods.
How Long Will I Have to Wait for My New Garage Door to Be Delivered?
Delivery usually takes between 10 and 28 working days from your order being placed, this time period may be longer during busy periods. You can request an update on the progress of your garage door order at anytime by calling us on 0844 30 98 991 or emailing us. Please note that some special order garage doors can take up to 56 days.
Electric Garage Door Operators and small accessories may be sent in advance of your door either by post or courier for next day delivery.
I Need My New Garage Door Urgently, Can I Pay Extra to Get My Door Delivered to Me Faster?
To be fair to all their customers, all the garage door manufacturers operate on a strict first come first served basis. We can request a fast track delivery for you but there is no guarantee that they will be able to fulfill your request. Stock garage doors will be delivered on the next available weekly run to your area.
Can I Have a Specific Delivery Date and Time Slot?
Because garage doors are bulky and difficult to transport, specialist vehicles are needed and deliveries to your area are on a fixed weekly run this means we cannot alter the delivery route, we will however give a morning or afternoon slot and the delivery driver can give you a call 1 hour in advance if requested.
How Much Notice Will I Get of My Garage Door Delivery?
We will email or call you at least 3 days in advance of your delivery taking place. We will also give you approximate delivery week when you place your order, this is based on the manufacturer’s current lead time. The delivery driver will call you a minimum of 24 hours before delivering to you.
Do I Need to Be There When My Garage Door Gets Delivered?
Garage Doors are large and heavy and someone will need to help the driver to offload your door safely. All our deliveries are carried out by a single driver so you must ensure someone is able to assist offloading the door.
Can I Collect My New Garage Door?
Yes, we welcome collections from our Chichester depot in West Sussex, click here for address details for collection. Please input our address in the delivery address field when making your online payment. We can also arrange collection direct from the garage door factory if it is nearer to your location.
What Size Lorry Will My New Door Be Delivered On?
All Garage Door deliveries will be made by heavy goods vehicles which are at least 28 feet long by 13'4" high. Please ensure there is adequate access for the lorry. If the access is impossible then an attempt to deliver the item as close to site as possible will be made or the item will be returned incurring a return fee.

Garage Door Superstore Delivery Terms
- It is essential that someone is at the delivery address to check the products and sign for the delivery. Drivers will need assistance with offloading garage doors safely. We will contact you by telephone prior to your delivery to notify you of the delivery time and date.
- Please provide us with a day time telephone number so that we can contact you. Working days are classified as Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays.
- If you are not at home when your goods are delivered we will charge an abortive delivery cost of £75. Delivery times are always confirmed with you before goods are dispatched.
- If your goods are incorrect, faulty or damaged on delivery you have the option to receive a replacement or a full refund should a suitable replacement not be available, providing we are notified within 24 hours of delivery. You must check that the door is not damaged before signing for the delivery. See our Terms & Conditions for further information.
