SWS UK have rebranded their own logo and the range of doors logos too.

SWS UK offer a large range of roller garage doors including the SWS Seceuroglide Roller Door and the SWS Seceuroglide Compact Roller Door.

The aluminium slats lock into position to resist intruders. The vertical opening allows you to park right up to your garage maximising drive space. The tightly coiling curtain achieves maximum drive-through height and doesn’t interfere with overhead storage. For safety it has a bottom slat sensor to stop the door from coming down if an obstacle should get in the way.

Minimum headroom for the Standard door required for coil 300mm or 350mm for doors over 3000mm Guide Height. Dimensions shown are Over Guide Width (mm) x Guide Height (mm).

Guides are 75mm per side or 90mm per side for doors 5200mm Over Guide Width and the Excel Model. Unless requested otherwise, tubular motors will be fitted on left hand side of each door (when viewed from the inside of the garage looking out).

Hormann Announce Launch Date for New Products

Hormann have finally announced the launch date of their long awaited new garage door products for the 1st July 2012.

The new products include the Series 3 of the popular and highly rated Hormann Supramatic garage door operator and the new sleek looking handsets and keypads.

The Hormann Supramatic E Series 3 Electric Garage Door Opener and Hormann Gate Operators will not come with the New BiSecur bi-directional radio system. This basically means you do not need to go outside in bad weather conditions to check if your garage door is open or closed. The small LED on the new handsets will show the status of the door i.e. opened or closed

The new BiSecur radio system also provides:

• 128-bit encryption with the same high security level as in online banking
• Interference-resistant radio signal with a stable range
• Backwards compatible with earlier versions

And one of the most popular aspects of the new handsest will be that they run on AAA batteries – so changing your battery in the handset will no longer be a problem finding that not very popular 6V or 12V battery.

The new Hormann 2 and 4 button handsets come in either Piano Black or White and can be seen at the bottom of this post.

Hormann have also announced the release of new looking keypad switches. These will replace the old FCT10B and FCT3B Keypads (see images below).

Woodrite Timber Doors Announce New Range

Woodrite Garage Doors manufacture timber garage doors in a whole array of styles and sizes.

Woodrite have announced a new range of garage doors made from a timber called Idigbo.

Idigbo is a fully certified hardwood that looks like Oak but is lower in cost and easier to work with. Woodrite Doors and therefore GarageDoorSuperstore.co.uk can now offer an Oak looking garage door at a reasonable cost! The Idigbo also come fully finished as standard.

Woodrite have also announced a new range of solid built wooden doors called the Balmoral Range.

The Woodrite Balmoral range dispense with steel bracings in favour of mortice and tenon joints for a nicer look and give the door more strength. The range includes current designs and an additional 8 designs with raised panels, such as the Padbury – as shown below.

The Balmoral Range do not use steel bracing across the back of the door making the back of the door as attractive as the front. The garage door is given strength by 43mm timber rails across the back with mortice joints. The running gear for the door fixes directly to the door panel giving a neat interior.

SWS UK Reveal Something Brand New

The UK based company SWS have announced they will be revealing something new in the New Year of 2012.

They will be revealing the mystery at their SWS Head Office on 6th and 7th of February 2012 and then taking it on the road to other parts of the UK towards the end of February.

SWS produce the Seceuroglide Roller Door and the Vertico Round the Corner Door.
